Koll på pengarna ("Keeping Track of Money") is Konsumentverket's (the Swedish Consumer Agency) annual household-budgeting booklet. It includes a budget template, a yearly financial overview, and Konsumentverket's official reference figures for reasonable monthly costs — food, clothing, mobile phone plans, home equipment, insurance, and more — calculated to represent a fair standard of living rather than actual spending statistics. These reference values are used not just by individual households but by municipal budget and debt counselors, banks, and social services, and even feed into the government's calculation of the national subsistence-support norm (riksnormen). The current edition (2025) remains downloadable through March 2026, alongside translated (though somewhat older) versions in English, Arabic, Somali, and Persian.
